Media created in digital form is often referred to as "born digital". I love digital media production because it makes it easy to translate content between platforms and devices. My core expertise is helping people to tell their stories through  web video. I come out of commercial news where I worked for many years in both radio and television so I'm fast and accurate. I know a story when I see one and how to sell them to fellow journalists.

I shoot video (have my own HDV gear), conduct interviews, edit,(Mac or PC) on Adobe Premier, Finalcut Pro and Avid,

Web Developer

I'm a certified web developer, know encoding, three camera production and tricks for getting the word out through social networks. 

 

Journalist

I've workedd as a journalist for more than 20 years. /Starting with my first job at Newsweek Magazine I've been translating content between media, print to tv, radio to print, video to web. .

 

Technology Evangelist

I'm adept with technology, have written two books, Web Video: Making it Great, Getting it Noticed, and DSL: a Wiley Tech Brief. I'm also comfortable in front of the camera as a speaker/spokesperson or leading conference sessions.

Project Development and Management

As Managing Director for PulverTV, I built a studio for shooting web video and shot and produced video coverage of dozens of technical conferences. Including:, VON, Video on the Net, Freedom to Connect, Digital Hollywook, Streaming Media East, Fast Net Futures, and Web Video Summit.
